First Bank & Trust Co. Promotes Skiles

The Board of Directors of First Bank & Trust Co. is pleased to announce that Brenda Skiles has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Corporate Teller. Brenda has over 26 years experience in the financial industry and has been with First Bank & Trust Co. since 1992, most recently serving as Corporate Teller Supervisor.

Originally from Akron, Ohio, she resides here with her husband James. Brenda has been active in the Duncan community serving as a member of the Duncan Chisholm Trail Kiwanis Club and is an active participant with the March of Dimes.

First Bank & Trust Co. Promotes Ridley

The Board of Directors of First Bank Trust Co. is pleased to announce that Bruce Ridley has been promoted to the Banking Center Manager for our Plato facility. Bruce has over 21 years experience in the financial industry and has been with First Bank & Trust Co. since January of 1996, most recently serving as Vice President and Loan Officer. 

Ridley graduated from Oklahoma University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance. Originally from the Duncan area, he resides here with his wife Carrie and his sons, Blaine and Adam. Bruce has been active in the Duncan community serving as a Board Member for the Youth Services of Stephens County and Duncan Youth Sports. He is also a member of the City of Champions Committee and of the First United Methodist Church where he is also the Treasurer. He is a former board member and past president of the Duncan Public Schools Foundation and is a former board member and past treasurer of Chisholm Trail Hospice.

Richard Guerin Join First Bank & Trust Co.

 The Board of Directors at First Bank & Trust Co. is pleased to announce the addition of Richard Guerin to their staff as Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer. Geurin has over 25 years banking experience.

Mark Miller Joins First Bank & Trust Co.

The Board of Directors at First Bank & Trust Co. is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Miller to their staff as Vice President and Commercial Lender.  Miller has over 20 years experience in the financial industry.

Miller graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing. Originally from Tulsa, Mark and his wife Darla, currently reside in Norman. Mark has been active in the Norman Community. He is a member of the Norman Chamber of Commerce, the Norman Sooner Rotary Club, the Commercial Real Estate Council and Bethel Baptist Church.

Jay Head Joins First Bank & Trust Co.

 The Board of Directors at First Bank & Trust Co. is pleased to announce the addition of Jay Head to their staff as Vice President and Loan Officer. Jay has over 7 years experience in the financial industry and has a Bachelors of Business Administration from Cameron University.

 Jay currently resides in Duncan with his wife Amme and son Riley. He is a Board Member of the Stephens County United Way, a Leading Knight of the Elks Golf & Country Club and Past President of the Duncan Jaycees.

Amy Shelby Joins First Bank & Trust Co.

The Board of Directors at First Bank & Trust Co. is pleased to announce the addition of Amy Shelby as our Investment Executive.  Shelby has over 15 years experience in the financial industry.  

Originally from Velma, Amy currently resides in Comanche with her husband Joey and three children, Hunter, Jordan, and Landyn. She is a member of the Comanche Public School Board and is currently President of the Chisholm Trail Arts Council. She is also actively involved in the Jaycees.  “We are so excited that Amy has joined the First Bank & Trust Co. team. She will fill a very important position in our Plato office and will enhance our brokerage services at all locations” stated Hal Pennington, Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer.

Steffann Price Joins First Bank & Trust Co.

 The Board of Directors at First Bank & Trust Co. is pleased to announce the addition of Steffann Price to their staff as Vice President and Loan Officer. Price has over 9 years experience in the financial industry, 5 of which have been in lending.  

Steffann currently resides in Blanchard with her husband and two children. She is a member of the Exchange Club of Norman, and has been a member of the Norman Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Norman Community Reinvestment Council. She has volunteered in the past for United Way and has set on the board for the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce. Steffann is excited to further her contributions to the Norman Community and servicing customers in the surrounding area.

First Bank & Trust Co. Promotes Plumlee 

The Board of Directors of First Bank Trust Co. is pleased to announce Chiree Plumlee has been named Fixed Rate Morgtage Manager. Chiree has been with the bank for over a year most recently serving as Mortgage Loan Officer. Prior to joining the bank, Chiree worked for an escrow and title office.

Chiree and her two children, Justan and Renea, and have been in the Duncan area for fourteen years. She is an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, and is involved with the Habitat for Humanity, Duncan Board of Realtors, and the Immanuel Baptist Church.

First Bank & Trust Co. Promotes Four Staff Members

The Board of Directors of First Bank & Trust Co. is pleased to announce four promotions approved at the annual Board meeting. Bob Gibson was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Network Administrator; Janet Harms was promoted to Asset Recovery Officer; Tami Jackson was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Core Technology and Data Processing Manager; and Stephanie Mahlow was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Deposit Administration Manager.

Bob Gibson began his career with First Bank & Trust Co. in January of 2005. Prior to coming to First Bank & Trust Co. Bob, a Vietnam Era Veteran, spent 24 years in the US Air Force where he earned a degree in Logistics Management.  He has over 20 years experience in  the Information Technology field.  Bob and his wife Lynette Adams-Gibson currently reside in Duncan and are members of First Christian Church. 

Janet Harms has been with First Bank & Trust Co. for nine years. She has held positions as Credit Card Processor, Credit Card Manager and Asset Recovery Officer. She has a Bachelors of Business Administration from Cameron University. She is a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, a member of Chisholm Trail Church of Christ, and a Firstar Saver volunteer for Horace Mann. She also participated in United Way, Hoedebeck Jr. Golf Tournament and March of Dimes. Janet and her husband Craig, live in Duncan with their two children, Abbie, 5 and Joshua, 2.

Tami Jackson joined the First Bank & Trust Co. team in 1981 as a bookkeeper.  Since then, Tami has held positions in Accounting, Trust, Data Processing and Management Information Systems departments.  She is directly responsible for resolving all technical issues, plays a critical role in strategic planning and operation of the bank’s Core Information Technology Systems.  Tami and her husband Mike have three children and currently reside in Duncan.

Stephanie Mahlow has been an employee of First Bank & Trust Co. for fourteen years. She has been a Financial Services Representative, Deposit Support Representative, New Account Administration Supervisor, Assistant Cashier, Deposit Administration Manager and Corporate FSR Trainer.  She is a member of the Eastside Church of Christ and likes to volunteer for the annual Jaycee's Auction and Hoedebeck Golf Tournament.  Stephanie, her husband Chet, and their daughter Megan currently reside in Duncan.
